Once upon a time, there was a tiny hero named Milo. Milo lived in a sunny forest and had a heart as big as a bear.
One day, a little Squirrel ran up to him. “Oh no!” squeaked the Squirrel. “The Sparkling River stopped moving! The flowers are thirsty. The trees are sad.”
“Don’t worry,” said Milo kindly. “I will fix it.”
Milo went to see Owlbert the Owl in his cozy tree.
“Hoo-hoo!” said Owlbert. “Go look at the Great Rock. Maybe the river is stuck there.”
So, Milo walked to the Great Rock.
On the way, he met some friends.
A Rabbit hopped along. Hop, hop, hop.
A Deer walked along. Clip, clop, clip.
A tiny Bird sang a song. Tweet, tweet, tweet.
“We will help you, Milo!” they said.
They walked together until they saw the Great Rock. Look! A big log was blocking the water. It was stuck.

“Letโs push it together,” said Milo.
The Rabbit pushed. The Deer pushed. Milo pushed.
“One, two, three… PUSH!”
Roll, roll, PLOP!
The big log rolled away with a splash.
Whoosh! The cool water flowed back into the river.
The flowers drank the water. Gulp, gulp, gulp.
The trees waved their green leaves. Swish, swish, swish.
Everyone was happy.
To celebrate, the friends had a picnic. They ate sweet berries and crunchy nuts. They danced a happy dance and gave big, warm hugs.
Milo smiled. The forest was safe, and the Sparkling River sang a gentle sleepy song all night long.
