Tez loves his toys, but he learns that keeping them all to himself makes his sparkle fade away. Enjoy this gentle story on sharing where a special mirror teaches a little boy that kindness is the brightest look of all.
Tez was a tiny boy with cocoa-brown eyes and cocoa-brown hair.
He loved his toys but didn’t like to share.
“They’re all for me!” he would shout.
Grandma gave Tez a gentle hug.
“I have a surprise,” she said. “A magic mirror! It shines when you’re kind and giving.”

Tez shared a purple plum with his playful puppy.
He peeked into the mirror. Wow!
“I’m shiny and sparkly!” Tez laughed.
But later that day, his pal Jinx asked to play with his big blue blocks.
“NO!” Tez shouted. “MINE, mine, mine!”
He looked in the mirror. The sparkle was gone. It turned gray and gloomy.
“I’m not shiny anymore!” Tez cried sadly.
“The mirror loves kindness,” Grandma said gently. “When we share and care, we sparkle and shine.”
So, Tez gave it a try.
He looked at his blocks and took a deep breath. “Jinx, do you want to build with me?”

They built a tall tower together.
Tez felt happy in his heart. He ran to his room and looked in the mirror.
“I’m back and bright!” he cheered.
The End
You are special, just like Tez.
Shine from your heart.
Goodnight, little star.
