From our collection of rhymes stories take a soothing journey through an autumn garden at dusk.
The evening wind in silken shawl,
Conducts the leaves in autumn's fall,
While jack-o-lantern clouds so bright,
Paint shadows in the fading light.

The tall oak tree in autumn gold, Knits sunset scarves with patterns bold, While chipmunk tailors measure leaves, For winter coats with acorn sleeves.

Three squirrels in their baker's hats,
Sort acorns into this and that,
While wrapping each in leafy bows,
For winter's long and gentle snows.

The garden gnome begins to yawn,
He's tired from raking all the lawn,
His wheelbarrow of rainbow seeds
Spills sparkles on the sleeping weeds.

Cattails wearing marching boots,
Lead parades of wild shoots,
Their sparkler wands light the way,
While dragonflies dance and sway.

The hummingbirds in racing gear,
Zoom through rainbows appearing near,
Their tiny goggles flash and shine,
As they zip along their flight line.

A mother duck in pearls of dew,
Leads her babies, two by two,
Each wearing tiny water wings,
Made from reflected moon-beam rings.

I'm cozy in my special place,
Dreams beginning to embrace,
While outside magic gently flows,
Like stardust sprinkled on a rose.

As morning's light begins to peep,
The garden slowly stirs from sleep,
While fairy dust from night's sweet play,
Turns into morning's golden ray.
