In a town not far from here,
Lived a girl named Mia, so dear.
She loved to play dress-up each day,
In fancy clothes, she'd sway and sway.
But Mia had a secret wish,
To shine above all, bright and stylish.
She'd practice smiles, big and wide,
But deep inside, she'd try to hide.

One day, while playing in her room,
She found a mirror midst the gloom.
It sparkled bright and caught her eye,
"What's this?" she said with a surprised cry.
The mirror spoke in voice so clear,
"I'll show your true self, have no fear.
But first, some tasks you must complete,
To find the you that's oh so sweet."

"Go help someone, but don't you boast,
For kindness matters more than most."
So Mia helped her neighbor near,
To plant some flowers, nature's cheer.
The mirror glowed, "Well done, my dear,
Now go and face what you most fear."
Mia gulped but tried her best,
To join the play at park with zest.

Though scared at first, she soon found out,
That making friends was fun, no doubt.
They laughed and played the whole day through,
And Mia's smile just grew and grew.
The mirror shimmered with delight,
"You've learned so much, you shine so bright.
Your true self isn't what you wear,
But how you love and how you care."

Mia looked into the glass,
And saw herself, a happy lass.
No fancy dress or practiced grin,
Just joy that bubbled from within.
From that day on, Mia knew,
Being herself was best to do.
She helped and played and laughed out loud,
Of her true self, she was so proud.

So remember, friends, both far and near,
The lesson Mia learned so clear:
It's not about how others see,
But being the best that you can be.
For in each heart, there shines a light,
Of kindness, love, and pure delight.
Embrace it all, and you will find,
A happy heart and peaceful mind.
