This sweet bedtime poem follows Billy as he learns to ride his bike—wobbles, giggles, and all—showing little dreamers that patience leads to joy.
Little Billy had a dream, To ride his bike, oh how keen! But every time he tried to pedal, He wobbled, wiggled, and felt unsettled. Daddy said, "You're doing great, With practice, you'll find your balance straight. Just keep on trying, day by day, You'll ride your bike and zoom away!”

So Billy practiced, rain or shine,
Determined he would ride just fine.
He started slow, but soon he found,
His wheels were steady on the ground.
Each day he grew a little stronger,
His rides became a little longer.
Billy's smile was bright and wide,
As he enjoyed his bike ride.
Then one calm evening, soft and still,
Billy rode down the gentle hill.
No wobbles, wiggles, not a care—
Just Billy gliding through the air.

Daddy whispered, "There you go,
I always knew that you would know."
Billy smiled a peaceful smile,
He'd learned to ride—it took a while.
He tucked his bike away that night,
And gave his daddy a hug so tight.
"Tomorrow I'll ride some more," he said,
Then yawned and climbed into his bed.
So little ones, when day is through,
Remember all that you can do.
Like Billy, rest and dream tonight,
Tomorrow's rides will feel just right.
