Under five minute story for preschoolers.
Once upon a time, a little boy named Toby lived in a land where trees wore leafy crowns, and animals talked in friendly chirps. Toby laughed like tinkling bells. He loved to explore, especially the Old Oak, whose branches told stories of long ago.
One night, when the moon was round and silver, Toby noticed the stars twinkle and blink, inviting him to play. Then, with a soft whoosh, Moondra, the Guardian of the Night, landed beside him. Her wings shimmered, and her voice was a gentle hush.
“Come, little Toby,” she said, “let’s fly together and seek the Sparkling Night’s biggest treasure!”

Up they went, Toby giggling as Moondra’s wings tickled his cheeks. They zipped and zoomed through the sky. They danced with the Northern Lights swirling through curtains of green, blue, and purple. They sang joyful lullabies with the stars.
“Listen closely, Toby,” Moondra whispered. “Can you hear the Sparkling Night’s heartbeat?”
Toby held his breath. He heard the wind sweep the leaves into dance as the tiny crickets hummed. He listened to the moonbeams twinkle and the stars jingle, all making beautiful music together.
“That’s the Sparkling Night’s heartbeat, Toby,” Moondra smiled. “It’s the song of everything alive, all beating as one.”
Toby felt a warmth of belonging, like a cozy hug. Looking into Moondra’s gentle eyes, he understood the Sparkling Night’s heartbeat was something to feel in his own heart. He saw that everyone and everything was part of the Sparkling Night’s big, beautiful dance.
When Moondra brought Toby back to the Old Oak, Toby became a little guardian of the Sparkling Night, reminding everyone that we’re all connected, all dancing in the beautiful song of life.

And so, the land where trees whispered secrets and animals spoke in chirps remained a place of wonder and warmth, filled with the gentle rhythm of the Sparkling Night’s heartbeat.
Remember, little one, you, too, are part of the Sparkling Night. Close your eyes, listen to the world’s whispers, and feel the beat of your own heart. You’ll find all you need right there, inside you.
