A nighttime poem from our collection of rhymes with stories
Stars are dancing up so high,
Sparkling in the evening sky.
Down below, with gentle care,
Moonbeams dance upon my hair.
In my cozy little bed,
Cuddled with my sleepy head,
Blankets wrapped all warm and tight,
Ready for sweet dreams tonight.

Little owls with watchful eyes,
Guard the dark and starlit skies.
While the crickets softly sing,
Nighttime peace their music brings.

Clouds like pillows float above,
Soft and fluffy, full of love.
Through my window I can see
How they wave goodnight to me.

Garden flowers close their eyes,
As the evening breeze floats by.
Every rose and daisy fair,
Drifts to sleep without a care.
Time for me to close my eyes,
Under peaceful starlit skies.
Dreams are waiting, sweet and new,
Filled with wishes coming true.

Angels watch with tender grace,
As a smile fills my sleeping face.
Through the night they hover near,
Keeping me safe, year after year.

Morning sun will come to play,
When I wake another day.
But for now, I’ll drift away,
While the stars and moonbeams stay.
