Under five minute nighttime poem for preschoolers.

In a house that's new and strange,
With boxes big and tall,
A little girl named Nora felt
Like she was oh-so small.

She missed her friends, her cozy room,
The place she used to play.
But then a furry friend appeared
To brighten up her day.

A golden pup with wagging tail,
And nose all wet and cold,
He nuzzled Nora's hand and seemed
To say, "Let's be bold!"

They explored the yard and neighborhood,
Discovering new sights.
The pup stayed close by Nora's side,
Chasing away her frights.

With each new day, the house felt more
Like home, warm and snug.
And Nora knew that she'd be fine
With her pup to hug.

So if you're feeling sad or scared,
In a place that's new to you,
Remember Nora and her pup,
And know you'll make friends too!
The star of our nighttime poem, Nora's yellow puppy
