Penny, Wally, and Oliver are on a mission to find the perfect toppings in the kitchen. This sweet 5 minute bedtime story shows that while ingredients are good alone, they are even better when mixed together in a delicious team.

Three breakfast friends lived in a bright and happy kitchen: Penny Pancake, Wally Waffle, and Oliver Oatmeal. They were so excited to have breakfast!

Chef Charlie, with his big white beard, would choose someone special every morning. “Hmmm…what yummy food for today?” he’d say.

“Pick me! Pick me!” Penny Pancake would bounce and giggle. “I’m soft and fluffy!”

“No, pick me!” Wally Waffle would crunch and crackle. “I’m crispy and yummy!”

Oliver Oatmeal, always smiling, would say, “I’m warm and cozy, the best for your tummy!”

One day, Chef Charlie had a big idea. “Let’s have a breakfast adventure! Can you find something special to make you extra yummy?”

Wally Waffle with berries

Penny flipped to the pantry. Wally zoomed into the cupboard. Oliver rolled, rolled, rolled around the fridge. They were looking for nuts, berries, and honey!

Penny found crunchy nuts hiding inside a can! “Peek-a-boo!” she laughed. Wally found red berries hiding in the fridge. “Aha!” he exclaimed. Oliver found a pot of honey, shiny and sweet.

Back with Chef Charlie, they got ready to cook. Penny turned a slow circle, her nuts like crunchy buttons. Wally got sprinkled with berries, making him more colorful. Oliver got a big honey hug, and he giggled with glee.

The kitchen smelled like yummy things! They were ready for the best breakfast ever!

Chef Charlie said, “You learned a secret today! Good things taste great, but when we work together, they taste even better!”

Penny, Wally, and Oliver snuggled up together on the big, warm plate. They looked so colorful and sweet! They learned that sharing the kitchen is the best adventure, and being together makes the happiest breakfast of all.
