Daxa liked to ask why. And how. And what is that?
Daxa had a little brother named Lal.
“Guess what?” said Lal. “The kitty can fly!”
“Really?” said Daxa. “Did you see it fly?”
“No,” said Lal. “Boba told me!”
Daxa smiled. “Let’s go see!”
They went to the neighbor’s yard. The cat was way up high in a tree.
“See!” said Lal. “It flew up!”
“Hmm,” said Daxa. “Let’s watch.”
They sat. And watched. And waited.
Then— the cat climbed right down the tree!
“Oh!” said Lal. “It didn’t fly. It climbed!”
Later, Boba came to play. “Did you see the flying cat?” she asked.
“We saw it in the tree,” said Daxa. “But it climbed. It didn’t fly.”
“Are you sure?” asked Boba.
“Let’s ask Mrs. Bing,” said Daxa.

Mrs. Bing smiled. “Kitty loves trees. But fly? No, no. She climbs!”
Boba laughed. “Silly me!”
Daxa nodded. “When we don’t know, we can ask!“
“Let’s ask more questions!” said Lal.
“Yes!” said Boba.
And they did.
The End.
