One day, a serious little boy came to see Papa Remba. The boy was very quiet, with shiny shoes and a tidy shirt. But Papa Remba wanted to have some fun. He knew how to make the little boy laugh!
The little boy had cookies to share. Papa Remba danced around the porch and teased, “Look! Nibble Gobblers! They want your cookie! Quick, eat it up!”
The little boy giggled! It was a tiny giggle at first, then a big belly laugh! Papa Remba told stories about fox parties and dancing bears. They laughed SO hard, their tummies hurt!
Papa Remba gave the little boy a special gift – his stories!
Now, the boy knew playing, being silly, and having the BEST fun was okay.
He became Papa Remba’s best friend. Together, they let stories take them on grand adventures, all made from stories in their heads.
They played and laughed every day, making the best kind of mischief. Stories were like magic keys, opening doors to laughter and the wildest, beautiful dreams.
