A fairy tale about acceptance and the uniqueness of being different.

Under five minute story for preschoolers.

In a forest called Twinkling Thicket, a tiny fairy named Wiska was born! Her daddy wanted her to always remember her family, so he called her Wiska Lavender Lavender.

First, Wiska’s wings were dark like Daddy’s. Then, they turned sparkly like mommy’s! But then…something amazing happened. Her wings became bright red, like a beautiful fire! This was new and different, and the other fairies buzzed about it.

But Wiska was a kind fairy. She used her red wings to spread happy warmth everywhere. If a flower was sad, she’d give it a warm hug. If a bunny was cold, she’d share her warm glow.

Soon, everyone loved Wiska’s red wings! They made her the Fairy of Warmth. Wiska’s daddy and mommy smiled – they realized being different is sometimes the best magic of all!

So, little listeners, remember Wiska! Her heart was even brighter than her special red wings. And sometimes, when you use your own special gifts, you can shine in the most beautiful ways!

Wiska learns that being different is good.
