Under five minute story for preschoolers.
Once upon a time, there were two boys named Finn and Flynn. They looked just like each other! Finn was a baker’s son. He always had a little flour on his nose and a big smile. Flynn was a prince who lived in a big castle and wore fancy clothes.
Finn loved to bake yummy bread in his daddy’s warm kitchen. He dreamed about being a brave knight! Flynn had to sit still and do lessons all day long. He wished he could run and play outside.
One day, Finn went to the castle to deliver bread. Flynn was sneaking out to climb a tree! They bumped into each other and were so surprised. They could have been twins.
“Let’s switch clothes!” said Flynn. “It will be a fun game!”
So, Finn put on the prince’s clothes, and Flynn wore Finn’s baker’s clothes.

Finn got to eat ice cream with the king and queen! But he didn’t get to play tag or go outside. Flynn kneaded dough, got all messy, and laughed with the other bakers. It was the best fun ever!

When it got dark, Finn missed his family and his cozy bed. Flynn missed being a prince and helping his people. They switched back their clothes before everyone found out! Finn and Flynn decided to stay friends forever, playing knights and baking cupcakes together.
The boys learned a big lesson: the most exciting adventures happen when you try to see the world like someone else does. Even if you just pretend!
