Under 5 minute short and cute stories for preschoolers.
A little boy named Jack lived near a wiggly river. With a smile as wide as a watermelon and a heart full of fun, Jack loved adventures!
One sunny day, Jack said, “Time for a splash!” He grabbed his cap, tattered and tan, and raced to the river, shimmering like silver in the sun.
Along the bank, Jack saw ducks paddling along. “Quack, quack, catch me!” they seemed to say. With a giggle, Jack snuck closer, then jumped with a whoop…right into the splashy water!

Soaked but happy, Jack saw something shiny below. It was a smooth, round pebble, winking like a mermaid’s treasure! He dived down and grabbed it, a gift from the playful river.
As the sun started to snooze, Jack sat by the water, skipping his pebble pitter-patter-pat. Each bounce brought a giggle, joining the river’s gentle song echoing like tinkling bells.
Suddenly, a rustle in the reeds! A frog, green as grass, hopped out. “Ribbit, ribbit, hop with me!” chirped the frog. They leaped and laughed, Jack hopping high and the frog bouncing by.

With stars twinkling like fairy lights, Jack knew it was time to go. He thanked the river for the fun, promising to return soon. He skipped home, heart happy, and a story to share: of dancing ducks, shimmering stones, and hopping froggy friends!
As Jack drifted off to sleep, he could hear the river’s gentle lullaby. Jack dreamed of his splashy, silly, joyful day. And the river, forever flowing, held Jack’s laughter and the promise of many more adventures to come.
